Wettest year on record???
Well December is upon us and earlier this week we had almost 4 inches of rainfall. I went back and looked at the precipitation for the year and we over 20 inches above normal for this area. As of December 2, we have had 66.25 inches of rain for 2011! Normal yearly total for this area is about 43-45 inches. Needless to say, its been a wet year for construction at the Sports Park. The last two days have been beautiful so I took some photos to share with all of you. Despite the weather, our construction crews have been doing what they can and we appreciate that! Enjoy the pics.

Earlier in the week we shut down the irrigation system for the winter. Basically we forces air through the lines to blow out as much water as we can. The above photo shows us flushing out the field farthest from the pump. The irrigation system is flushed out to keep the water lines from freezing and damaging the pipe and heads, not to mention we haven't needed it lately:)
