The groundhog says 6 more weeks of winter. Well if its 6 more weeks of what we've had lately, I'll take it! We've had high temps in the 60's and upper 50's the last couple weeks. A lot of work has been accomplished, check out the photos!

STMA 2012 Conference

Last week I had the opportunity to attend the Sports Turf Managers Association's national conference and exhibition in Long Beach, CA. The STMA is a great organization that promotes industry professionalism and safer athletic fields through education. I have proudly been a member going on 8 years now. There were a couple traveling seminars available and I had the pleasure to take part in a day trip to some local athletic facilities. Included were tours of Pasadena's Rose Bowl, Dodger Stadium, Loyola Marymount University Athletics, and Long Beach State University Athletics. Enjoy the photos!

Sodding in January?

This past weekend the temperature has topped out in the high 50's here in Central Kentucky. We took advantage of this warm trend to install sod on a couple of the ball diamonds. Green side up!
